The MoneyDolly Product Catalog is a revolutionary fundraising tool that enables campaigners to sell products from a variety of high quality brands across the country without any effort to source, manage or fulfill. And yes, without any minimums or up front costs - thereby no risk! Campaigners have at their disposal the ability to connect into an amazon of quality brands in real time.
Why offer products instead of just donations?
At MoneyDolly, we believe in the concept of there being something for everyone. That means having a variety of options for every potential supporter that visits your campaign pages.
So while non-MoneyDolly campaigns can get stale and boring by being donation-only or having a single product type, with MoneyDolly, you don’t have to make a new big decision from one campaign to the next. You can offer multiple product types (Products, Events or Donations) and a seemingly limitless number of products.
And yes, while there are costs of goods associated with selling products, the data is clear: Offering the option of products enables your Campaigners to have a consistently fresh and more comfortable fundraising experience - enabling both immediate and long term success. And for your Supporters, giving them options means not turning anyone away who wants something gifted in return for their contribution, thereby leaving money on the table.
How are these items priced?
Products are priced based on a variety of factors, namely: 1) Cost of goods from partnered Suppliers and 2) a competitive market retail price that Supporters can feel good about purchasing while at the same time 3) presenting a strong enough profit margin for the Fundraising Campaign to succeed in hitting its goal.
Are all the products listed in the catalog available at all times?
Each product listed is available for use in your fundraising campaign, however, that can vary slightly depending on the factors of inventory and seasonality. First off, for inventory, though rare, it is a possibility a product can sell out. In this event, that product will, in real time, disappear from purchase on your fundraising campaign until restocked. All orders up until it disappeared will of course be honored and delivered. Secondly, as far as seasonality goes, some products are most conducive to certain times of year or temperatures. If a product is only available certain times per year, it will have an asterisk below the image with the months of availability.
How is Shipping & Handling calculated at checkout?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for each Supporter according to the items they selected to purchase and their shipping address. MoneyDolly and its partners work closely with UPS, USPS and FedEx to get the lowest possible shipping rates.
Supporters that purchase multiple items from two different vendors will not have the same shipping cost savings as someone that orders multiple items from the same vendor as those items would be shipped from different brands and their locations.
Any small, additional Handling costs for vendors fulfilling the product are added with the complete S&H Fee at checkout.
How soon will my Supporters receive their package?
MoneyDolly sends every order, individually, to each vendor partner in real time. Because of this, Supporters can expect to have their orders shipped within a week of purchase and to arrive at the address they listed at checkout, within 2 weeks of purchase.
What goes toward a contribution?
Product retail prices will go toward the Total Raised (Gross). Applicable miscellaneous fees added at checkout such as Shipping & Handling or Convenience do not contribute toward the Total Raised (Gross) goal, however, as those fees vary by the location distance of the shipment and are paid to partnered carriers.
Can I cancel my order for a product?
Yes, cancellations are possible but only in certain circumstances as this is a fundraising campaign. Supporters may request a refund for their purchase by emailing support@moneydolly.com if it's been less than 72 hours since the contribution was made and the fundraising campaign is still live. In this scenario, the product order will be canceled and the Supporter will be refunded.
What if my product is damaged?
If a product is damaged upon arrival, the Supporter may email support@moneydolly.com with images of the issue. MoneyDolly will work directly with the vendor to have a replacement item shipped out.
